Hero's Journey Men's Retreat

Nov 1 - Nov 3, 2024

We must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us.

Joseph Campbell, The Hero’s Journey

All great stories follow a framework known as The Hero’s Journey.  The arc of this story outline is familiar if you’ve ever watched such movies as The Matrix or Star Wars.

The start of the story is called The Call To Adventure during which, the hero is in the ordinary world, usually the hero’s home or natural habitat. Conflict arises in their everyday life, which calls the hero to adventure, where they are beckoned to leave their familiar world in search of something. They may refuse the call at first, but eventually leave, knowing that something important hangs in the balance and refusal of the call is simply not an option.

During this retreat, we will unlock all the parts of your own Hero’s Journey. You will learn why you should leave the “normal world”, and gain the tools you’ll need to embark on your own Adventure of a Lifetime!
